How to Add a Google Review Widget to Your Squarespace Website With Elfsight

So you’ve got all these great Google reviews—good for you!

But how can you ensure your website visitors will SEE them? After all, you want them to know what great opinions your past customers have about you because this builds trust and speaks to your authority.

Without trust and authority, you’re going to have trouble converting website visitors into paying customers.

Well, I’ve got good news for you! You can actually display your Google reviews directly on your website using Elfsight.

Not only that but your website visitors can actually leave a Google review for you directly from your website.

Let me show you how.

 
 

Create an Account With Elfsight

Head on over to Elfsight and create an account.

There is a free option that is limited, but it works fine for websites that aren’t getting loads of traffic or if you just want to test it out before making the commitment.

 
 

What to Do Once You’re Logged In:

  1. Select ‘Add Application’

  2. Choose ‘Google Reviews’

  3. Select the Carousel Widget

  4. In the left-hand panel, search for your business and select it

  5. Select ‘Apply’ and ‘Save’

  6. In the new window, select ‘Add to website’

  7. Select ‘Click to copy’

  8. Go to your Squarespace website and add a code block in the area you’d like to display the Google reviews widget.

  9. Edit the code block and replace the dummy text with the code you just copied from Elfsight.

  10. Select ‘Save’ and ‘Exit’
